This book was given to me by my very dear old friend and comrade Mrs Brackenridge who passed over Jan 4th 1919. We had much in common and it is to her I owe much of the little knowledge I have of art and the interest in the beautiful. When she passed away I felt that the parting was only temporary and that we shall meet again.
