The I Ching or Book of Changes translated by Richard Wilhelm Richard Wilhelm Translation

To Brother Mark

Christmas 1971

With love from Big Wa [?] and Silly Celia

“In the secret space of dreams,

Where dreaming lay amazed,

When the secrets all are told,

And the petals all unfold….”

“…. got to play your hand,

Sometimes the cards ain’t worth a dime,

if you don’t lay them down….”

[NB. These lines are also from a Grateful Dead song: Truckin’. WG.]
